My Little Princess

What is on my Mind...What is always on my mind...My Daughter. Her mother "fell out of love with me", her words. We talked for years, lived together (it was torture, I still loved her).. When it came time to leave, my Daughter expressed that she would rather stay with me. My wife freaked out. Got her daddy to hire her a good lawyer, and to make a long story short I haven't seen my Daughter in over two years.. Our last encounter my little girl with trembling hand handed me a not It read Daddy Hlep me... (NO spell checker its the way she wrote it)... I cry every day.. I know she would call me if they would let her... I prey to God that My little Princess doesn't think I abandon her... I wrote this poem to her before she was born. I use to keep it with the sonogram I wrote it to.. I can't wait to tell you stories that begin once upon a time. I will write you silly poems, and most of them will rhyme. I'll sing with you funny songs, and teach you about butterfly kisses. I will do what ever I have to to make you feel like a princess. Yea, I can't wait to tell you stories of castles, and dragons and such. But most of all I can't wait to show you I love you so much...

About PoeMonet

I'm 52 years old I suffer from depression, but manage OK when properly medicated...I like to think myself an artist, and poet...I can get lost in a painting...I can tie down my emotions with my poems...Am I a writer, I wrote this poem..asking the verry same question.

I love the white of the paper, but it wont stay that way

As long as I have pen in hand, and something I must say

I write down all my feelings, my hopes, and my dreams

Trying to make sense in a world thats not always what it seems

I love the smell of the ink as it flows onto the page

Without me my pen is emotionless, no sorrow, no joy, no rage

It's just a tool than when applied sets my feelings free

The ink entrapping all for me, and the world to see

Am I a writer, I dont know, what I do know is I like to write

And as long as I have pen in hand, and pages clean, and white

The pen will move, the ink will flow, my thoughts will be contained

On page after page of paper, ever so neetly arainged...

A Poem I Found I Wanted To Share

Just for Now

Just for now, just for this moment, allow the body to be at ease.
Just for now ….. invite the mind and body to slow down.
Just for now….. feel the breath glide in and out without effort.
Just for now ….. quiet the inner critic and judge.
Just for now ….. feel the peaceful mind.
Just for now ….. feel the bliss of a calm body and mind.
Just for now ….. enjoy the pleasure in just being.
Just for now ….. rest in clear, unbiased awareness.

People come and people go,
In and out of your life and so,
When one shines bright among the rest,
And is there when needed, you’re truly blessed.
That is how I see you, friend of mine,
And why I’m sending this Valentine.

Uncertainty

Should I stay or should I go

Should I hide or should I show

What are these feelings consuming my soul

Why they keep me from acheiving pleasant goals

I don't know if I should care

I don't know if I should dare

I hold my head high

Higher than the sky

Life goes on by

I hang my head and sigh

Cause I know one day soon

that I will once again croon

Poor, Broke, Happy

I am poor, as poor as you

So why do you come to me being so blue

What can I do to ease your pain

When I am feeling exactly the same

I am broke, as broke as can be

But yet you ask, "Why want you give to me?"

How can I make you understand

That I too was born of earthly sand

Even though I have nothing

I will give you this one something

I give unto you the last of my lot

I give unto you all that I got

I give you my blessing and love

They were given from my FATHER above

I give you my mind

So that you will not be blind

I give you my hand

To hold so you can stand

Now I have given all that I had

I no longer feel so bad

'Cause I know that some day soon

Those blessing will return in a monsoon.

About Angels Over All

Hi My Name is Gina, I'm a wife and mother of 9. Last year has been very very tough for I & my family. I want to say, my husband and I are very Hard working People. My Husbands Job ended when 2 thugs rob him then shot him because he was not moving fast enough. The Bullet Shattered his pelvis then landed above his rectum. The Doctors can not remove it. While going through the pain of this tragedy, we were told by one of our twins doctors that he had to have major surgery. while I'm going back and fourth between doctors for my husband and son. My 7yr old broke his foot. Then things just go down hill from there. My car breaks down and can not be fix. I have no money for nothing else because I was laid off of my Property Management Job when the company went out if business. The bills are piling up, we do not know what to do. Our Gas get's Shut Off. Now, when we think it can not get any worse. My 18 yr old Step daughter commits Suicide on 9-9-09. We did not have any money nor Insurance to plan a funeral. I Beg, Borrow, and sold what I can out of my home so that we could give her a Respectable Funeral. I Take care and provide for my family. If You can, Please Lend a helping hand. We would be most gracious. Our children are very good kids. Honor roll, no trouble at all.   I currently write Inspirational poems to deal with The Tragedy, Pain, and Hard ach that My entire family, friends & others are going through. I Frame and Sale my Poems. All Proceeds from each poem sold goes to help someone in need!  Here is a Poem that I wrote over the Christmas Holidays, Thank You & God Bless EveryOne!:

There's No Santa in da Ghetto!

When Christmas comes around, everyone thinks it's great.
Just ask the kids in the ghetto, where christmas is always late.
It's Bright, It's beautiful and full of Light.
Not here in da ghetto. Christmas is never right.
You see all the little kids. Their as happy as can be.
Look very close, Behind the ghetto mystery.
There's no santa in da ghetto! we all know better than that.
Stop making our children promises. when we live with the facts.
In the better neighborhoods, where there's glitz and glam.
we love to at least dream that for our kids before the holiday slam.
You know the slam of the pressure when you can not buy your kids a gift.
Then you do what ever it takes in the freezing cold and you just come up stiff.
There's no dam santa in da ghetto! you're blessed if you have a mom or a dad.
That's where the gifts are coming from if you're lucky, If not that's very sad.
May be some day. The fortunate will bring santa to da ghetto like we know they could.
We have many deserving children that expect santa to show up, and they should.
so when you do your holiday shopping for your special love ones list'
Think about the children in da ghetto that always get missed.

Poem for Veterans Day

A poem I wrote in honor of my dad and for all our troops! I Thought I would post it here in honor of Veteran's Day.

For My Dad: I love you! And to all veterans & soldiers.

~Life in a Democracy~
You leave your home, your friends and your family
You put your life on the line so that others can be free
Free to be who they want to be
Free to live their life in a democracy

You leave your children and your wife
You give your time and sometimes your life
The sacrifices you make are over the top,
and our pride in you will never stop

Some may not agree and others will complain
Some will look on you with great disdain
Just for contributing to this unpopular war
but they must have forgotten what you're fighting for

In my eyes you deserve all the praise we can give
because you choose to sacrifice so others can live...
Live a life that is happy and free
Live a life in a democracy.

* I also wanted to say I mean no disrepect to our female soldiers when I put wife. It rhymed with life and spouse didn't. God Bless all our troops and veterans!

A Poem DON'T QUIT!

I want'd to share this with my Aidmates! I added to the front page of my website

 Don't Quit!

When things go wrong as they sometimes will;

When the road you're trudging seems all uphill;

When the funds are low, and the debts are high

And you want to smile, but have to sigh;

When care is pressing you down a bit-

Rest if you must, but do not quit.

Success is failure turned inside out;

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;

And you can never tell how close you are

It may be near when it seems so far;

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit-

It's when things go wrong that you must not quit.

Earning Cash

There are places to make extra cash on the internet that are valid sites, and not scam sites. I admit that it is not easy to make cash in today's society, without running across all those scam sites, but i have a few listed here, that do actually pay. I will try to give a fairly quick description with each one.

http://www.ehow.com/how_4606325_write-a-poem.html  This is an article that i wrote, just to give you some idea of what this one is about. Ehow, is very easy to write for. It's all about "how to do things". I even wrote one, on how to make a pot of coffee, so you see virtually anything that you know how to do; there is someone else, that is wanting to learn how to do just that.

I will add more each day, and hopefully, my listings will help you also.

WHY CANT I SEE

WHY CANT I SEE, WHY CANT IT BE, WHY DO I WISH FOR IT,  HAVE I LOST SIGHT OF WHAT DROVE ME TO ME, HAVE I LOST WHAT IS SO GONE MISSING FROM WHO I THOUGHT WAS ME, HAS LOSING SIGHT MADE AN ENEMY OF ME, SEARCH FOR IT, ASK FOR IT BACK, IT DIDNT GET LOST,IT WAS ALWAYS THERE,ONLY MY EYES WERE MISGUIDED, AND I LOST SIGHT OF THEE,BUT I ONLY HAVE TO SHOW THEE, LET THEE, BE THEE ,AND BE WHAT WAS ONCE A REFLECTION OF ME . A Poem Called I am the Train

"I'm moving on a locomotive. It's a flash of light. Motion. Speed. Exhilaration. I'm pounding my fists onto some steel. It's hard. My teeth clench. The sound of metal bending. Someone rings a soiled rag and dirty water trickles onto clammy ground. A beetle scurries by. The train roars a deadly, hefty cry. "Remember me when I'm gone!" It sings. I am alone, shivering, pale as the moon in December. I am the train. And I am furious." - Poem by Me

A poem to my dying son

Will I be able to say goodbye when that time comes.  Will I be able to speak the words that dont roll easily off my tounge. Will I be able to let you go away from this world. Will I say those words that I know will tear my heart into... Yes my son, I can do that for
you.  Because of the love I have for you, I will be able to
say goodbye to you....
I know thats the only way you will leave here in peace, is
to hear that from me
